From times immemorial people from near and far have come to the Aldino pasture to eat Strauben.
Through an apposite funnel with a handle, the liquid dough (similar to batter) is dropped to a pan with hot oil and fried. The sweet dish is usually enjoyed with cowberry jam. However, kids prefer to eat it with raspberry syrup or chocolate spread.
Traditionally, Strauben are eaten with your hands. Insiders do not use fork and knife.
